Policy: Cookie Policy Version: 1.0 | Effective: 7 August 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on horeka.co, what each is for, and how you control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits — which work similarly. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
2. Your choices
When you first visit, we show a consent banner. You can accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you shopping — everything essential keeps working.
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the site footer. We re-ask for consent every 12 months, and whenever we add a materially different purpose.
3. Categories we use
3.1 Strictly necessary — always on
These are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off, and we do not ask consent for them because the service cannot be delivered without them.

We operate Google Consent Mode v2. Where you decline advertising cookies, Google tags are restricted to cookieless pings and no advertising identifiers are set.
4. Cookies set by others
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services appear on our pages — embedded maps, payment pages, video players and social widgets. We do not control these. Payment pages in particular are operated by Razorpay, Cashfree or PhonePe and are governed by their own policies.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout.
Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
Safari — Settings › Safari › Privacy & Security
Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
Browsers vary in how they signal tracking preferences. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends it, treating it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and advertising cookies.
7. Mobile apps and push notifications
Our progressive web app may use local storage to work offline and to cache product data. Push notifications are sent only if you grant permission, and can be revoked in your device settings at any time.
8. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove technologies. The effective date above reflects the current version, and material changes trigger a fresh consent prompt.
